1. Warranty Coverage
LUCILE products are backed by a limited warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use.
Ceramic sanitaryware: 10-year warranty
Taps & mixers: 5-year warranty
Accessories & components: 1-year warranty
The warranty period commences from the original date of purchase, as reflected on the valid proof of purchase.

2. Warranty Conditions
This warranty is valid only under the following conditions:
– The product has been installed by a qualified professional
– Installation complies with all applicable plumbing standards and regulations
– The product has been used strictly for its intended purpose
– Proof of purchase is provided for all claims

3. Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
– Incorrect installation or improper handling
– Normal wear and tear, including scratches, discolouration, or limescale build-up
– Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or abuse
– Damage resulting from harsh or corrosive cleaning agents
– Damage caused by inconsistent water pressure or poor water quality
– Labour costs related to installation, removal, or reinstallation
– Transport, call-out, or handling fees

4. Claims Procedure
To submit a warranty claim:
– Contact your original point of purchase or LUCILE directly
Provide the following:
– Proof of purchase
– Product details
– Clear images or videos showing the issue
LUCILE’s technical team will assess the claim
LUCILE reserves the right to inspect the product prior to approving any claim.

5. Resolution
If a claim is approved, LUCILE will, at its sole discretion:
Repair the defective component, or
Replace the product or part with the same or an equivalent model
Refunds will not be issued unless required in terms of applicable consumer protection laws.

6. Spare Parts Availability
LUCILE will endeavour to make spare parts available for a reasonable period after purchase, subject to availability.

7. Limitation of Liability
LUCILE shall not be held liable for:
Any indirect or consequential damages, Loss of use, inconvenience, or delays
Any costs exceeding the original purchase price of the product

8. Commercial Use
Products installed in commercial, industrial, or high-usage environments carry a limited warranty of:
1 year, unless otherwise specified in writing

9. Maintenance Guidelines
To ensure product longevity and maintain warranty validity:
Clean only with mild, non-abrasive cleaning products
Avoid the use of acids, bleach, or harsh chemicals
Regularly inspect and maintain fittings

10. General Terms
These terms and conditions may be updated without prior notice
The warranty is non-transferable
This warranty applies within South Africa unless otherwise agreed
